Somewhere, deep down inside us all are dreams.

Dreams that we have, and dreams that we had.

Somewhere those dreams still live.

This is my somewhere.

So this is where it begins.

My dream?

To travel across the United States.

Specifically US 50 and US 66 photographing the middle of America.

How did I come up with the name for this blog?

For those Counting Crows fans, Omaha.

For those that are not familiar with that song, the chorus says,

"Omaha, somewhere in middle America."

Even though US 50 or US 66 doesn't touch Omaha at all, these two highways and the cities they intersect represent to me what America is all about.



So this is it.

This is where my journey begins.

Maybe this is where my life begins.
